Ilsinho signs for Shakhtar Donetsk

By: Luis Felipe | July 28th, 2007

After a week of speculation, the Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine have completed the signing of São Paulo player Ilsinho for €11m (about R$28 millions) for a four-years contract. The winger, who got close to join Milan last week (some say), accepted the ukrainian club propose after a few days of negotiation.

Ilsinho came to São Paulo in 2006, a direction bet in order to substitute Cicinho, gone to Real Madrid. The right-winger arrived to São Paulo in a free transfer from Palmeiras, after a misunderstanding with that club and at the end of his contract. Now he´s going to join the ukrainian club like other Brazilian players: Elano, Matuzalem, Adriano Luiz and more. Good luck folk.
