São Paulo, Tricolor Machine.

By: Luis Felipe | Comments No Comments

So dear folks, another round is gone and it wasn´t different. I mean, it was, because this time São Paulo scored a half “Brazilian egg-pack”: São Paulo 6 x 0 Paraná. With this victory, we´re reaching the 11th match without a negative result, and the 7th withtout suffering a goal. That´s really incredible. It seems our attack has [...]

São Paulo Very Leader…

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 1 Comment

Hello folks. I admit. I am not posting as frequently as I would, but I´ll keep on trying…
Last night São Paulo beat Palmeiras by the minimal score in a very hard match, and now…we´re in a really confortable position at table: First one (as ever) with 8 points more than the second team, Cruzeiro. Here it´s how [...]

World’s Best Defense.

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 3 Comments

No, I’m not exaggerating. No, I’m not a crazy supporter, mm…might be, but until someone proves me wrong, I’ll keep saying it: actually, São Paulo has the best defense in the world.
‘We’ve just finished the first half of Brasileiro, 19 matches of 38 were played. At this point, the other teams scored against us only [...]

Josué is Gone. São Paulo is the First One.

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 1 Comment

Remember what I´ve said before, about a strong hype involving the São Paulo and Brazilian team midfield player Josué? Done it. (Claps) On this monday, the German club Wolfsburg signed with the player in a negotiation of about U$2m for an unknow-how-many-seasons-contract (I guess 4). Besides finding the ex-São Paulo teammate Mineiro (Hertha Berlin), Josué may share the field [...]

Brazil Squad Has Josué and Alex Silva

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 4 Comments

One more time Josué and Alex Silva (the Lollypop), both from São Paulo, were called to defend Brazil. They´ll be forming the team which plays against Algéria by the end of the month , 22nd in France. It seems that Dunga enjoyed the Mineiro-Josué midfield marrow showed during a part of Copa América. Well, so far, so [...]

Brasileiro has a “New” Leader. Guess Who?

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 1 Comment

Yes old folks. Last sunday, the glorious tricolor Paulista beat poor Grêmio by 0 x 2 at their home. This victory, combined with the Botafogo´s draw (0×0), put São Paulo at the top of the table with 34 points, against 32 points of the carioca team, who has one match less than the tricolor. But there´s no problem because in the next [...]

OffSide Writers: Let’s Get Stoned.

São Paulo 3 x 1 Juventude. One more time São Paulo won a match despite Juventude scoring a goal in the first minutes of the game. São Paulo proved to have an excellent reaction power and we definitively can call it “O Time da Virada”, something like “The Team of the Comebacks”. With a trap [...]

God Has Heard Me…

By: Luis Felipe | Comments No Comments

Sandro Goiano, Grêmio bad midfielder who was holding talks with São Paulo, played this night his 7th match for Grêmio in Brasileiro 2007. So, according the law, he´s not allowed to defend another club here this year…
São Paulo supporters thanks for it.

D-e-f-e-n-s-e! Transferences and Robbery

By: Luis Felipe | Comments No Comments

In a “burocratic game” only, São Paulo beat America - RN last weekend at the Machadão Stadium by 0 x 1 with a lonely Richarlysson goal. One more time São Paulo´s attack failed, and we keep on showing one of the worst attack of the championship, with 15 goals in 15 matches. At least we have the [...]

By: Luis Felipe | Comments 1 Comment

After a week of speculation, the Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine have completed the signing of São Paulo player Ilsinho for €11m (about R$28 millions) for a four-years contract. The winger, who got close to join Milan last week (some say), accepted the ukrainian club propose after a few days of negotiation.
Ilsinho came to São Paulo in 2006, a direction bet in order to substitute Cicinho, [...]
